Identity

We began as a vision in the eyes of Pastor Dan Leroy who in 1997 felt God calling him to plant a church in the Chapel Hill. After a season of preparation, Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church was formed by a body of believers who originally met each week at a local elementary school. This group was committed to reaching the people of Chapel Hill and the surrounding area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We carry on this legacy today.

In 2004, David Fox became our current Lead Pastor. David has presented us with a fresh vision to continue reaching our neighborhood through creative and compassionate means. We are excited about what God has for us in the future as He continues to write out the story of Chapel Hill Wesleyan.
Our Story Our Beliefs
We believe in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit. We believe in the authority of the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on its teachings. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the church is to tell the world about Jesus through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
